so headed to macs and realized that breakfast was over! LONG OVER! haha. so we decided to head to glenny to eat wonton mee! i ended up having noodles with beef stew which was rather good btw. so anyways, when we were looking for a parking space, kevin knocked into some lady's car. it was a rather loud bang. but wasnt so serious. the door got dent but no one was hurt. he probably doesnt wanna relive it.
after lunch. we brought shona to safeway! ahhaha. she was a safeway virgin! so she lost her virginity this afternoon! yay sho! haha. it was funny seeing kevin pull her into safeway. ahha. she was screaming and refusing to go in. aha. but we made her.
bought like 2 packets of chocolate! yumm! my room is like stocked up with comfort food i tell you. no wonder i'm getting fat! ugh.
went to walk around after that. checked out some furniture shops for kevin's room. shona and i bought like nail polish. ahha. i got like a glittery pink one and a normal pink one. ahahha. its sooooo nice! gosh. ahha.
headed home to try to start on management! but ended up just watching friends online. but i managed to read my lecture slides. thats a start!
left the house at 5 to go to sho's place for dinner. when i was walking out, the sun was setting. and the sky was a marvelous blend on orange, pink, red and yellow. it was gorgeous. and the weather was so nice. wasnt too hot or cold. the wind wasnt like too strong so it was a very pleasant walk to her place.
she helped me to paint my nails cos i was really bad at it. sooooo pretty. but a little bimbotic. but who cares! its pretty! ahhaha.
azeem came at like 8 sth to make dinner. some pakistani chicken dish with bread. arabic bread i think. it was sooooooo good! but spicy though. while the guys were preparing dinner, shona and i were so bored she said she'll paint my toenails. so now my fingernails and toenails are a different shade of pink. haha. we were so bored after that we cam whored. ahha. azeem made his pakistani tea after dinner. oh man. i was soooo full. i am still soooo full. think i might skip tmr's breakfast. ahha.
so anyway, today wasnt that bad. although kevin might think otherwise. everyone has their off days and the only way to get through it is t just look at the bad circumstance in a different way. you can't change the situation so look at it in a different light. maybe something good came out of it. well, i'm sure he knows that. ahha
while walking to sho's place this evening, and looking at the sky, i thought of how awesome our God is. only He is capable of creating such a beautiful sight. even now, i can see stars in the sky. and the moon. ahh. how graceful and serene. i wish i could sit outside my house with a nice cup of tea or coffee or hot chocolate and marvel at the wonder that He has created. we always seem to be too caught up with our work and our own lives that we fail to just slow down and savour the grandeur of what God has made. the stars shine for him. the moon sings to His grace. the sun burns for his glory. how great is our God and the things he has done for us. i'm truly blessed. i just fail to see that so often. i take things for granted. i just refuse to see what God has planned for me, rushing to do things my own way. and failing all the time. i dont know why i cant seem to give God the key to my life. let Him run my life instead. maybe things will turn out better. wait. what am i talking about. it WILL turn out better. He IS God after all.
